Swimming is a great leisure or competitive activity that can take place in indoor, outdoor, in a pool, sea, river, lake or anywhere that there is enough water to float. So many different sports or activities have swimming incorporated into it such as water polo, diving or surf lifesaving.

How much will it cost me?
At a lot of public pools, it is free for under 16 years to swim. If you are over 16 the price can range from $3.50 to $6 depending on the place.
What do I need to play?
Togs or shorts are essential. You need to ensure whatever you do choose to swim in allows free movement and doesn’t drag you down.
You may also wish to use a swim cap or googles.
